Is the Data Science Academy certificate accredited?

No. It is a non-credit-bearing certificate of completion. It is not registered on the NQF and does not carry SAQA credits, but it shows that you completed the 18 lessons and passed the online assessment.

Do I need to know programming?

No. Every lesson runs as a visual simulation in your browser, and the DataSheet works like a spreadsheet with formulas such as =AVERAGE, =CORREL and =SLOPE.

How is the final assessment protected?

The assessment runs in full screen with copy and paste disabled. Leaving the page, switching tabs or apps, exiting full screen, screenshot shortcuts or developer tools end the session immediately and are treated as AI usage.
